Our approach was to carry out a desktop exercise on the demographics of the County, speak to female owned businesses to find out the challenges faced in growing businesses and to use our local knowledge to develop a proposal for a pilot scheme.
Strategi Solutions has played a part in the success of delivery providing six face-to-face sessions – including ‘Imposter Syndrome’, ‘Personal Branding’ and ‘Stepping out of Comfort Zone’.
The impact was significant as not only did the initial programme prove hugely successful in empowering and encouraging women to come together to support each other, the Council decided to move the programme from pilot to a continuous programme. The women involved have had huge success in building confidence, growing businesses and diversifying product offering.
Strategi Solutions has played a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening Staffordshire’s support for women entrepreneurs. Their initial research and comprehensive report into the experiences and challenges faced by women in business was instrumental in establishing the Women in Business programme. The insight they provided enabled us to build an evidence‑based initiative that directly addresses the barriers identified, creating a clearer pathway for women starting, growing, and sustaining their businesses. Following this foundational work, Strategi Solutions continued their involvement by delivering a series of specialist workshops. Wendy’s sessions on Imposter Syndrome, confidence building and personal branding have been well‑received by participants, who valued the practical content and its relevance to the challenges they face in running their businesses.”
