Ground control to CFL: Stabilising people, policy and process

Courier Facilities Limited (CFL) is a UK logistics company providing cargo handling and courier processing at Heathrow Airport. From its Heathrow HQ it employs around 70 staff.

When CFL first engaged Strategi, the business had identified some governance challenges and had recently appointed a non-executive chair to improve oversight and structure. They needed external expertise to help address issues and strengthen people management processes. Operating in a highly regulated environment also created complex employee relations and compliance challenges, which required specialist HR guidance and support.

CFL wanted to improve governance, HR compliance and people management, while ensuring the organisation met the regulatory requirements of its operating environment. They also aimed to strengthen leadership capability and develop their workforce through training and structured people processes.
