This year marks a very special milestone for us – Strategi Solutions is officially 10 years old. What started as a bold leap in 2015 has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of today: a vibrant, values-led business helping organisations to unlock their potential through HR, culture change, creative services, and learning & development.
Our story began when Wendy Dean, our Founder and now Chair, decided it was time to take a chance on her own vision. After holding senior HR roles at FedEx UK and Steelite International, Wendy knew that getting workplace culture right was key to sustainable success. So, she set out to build something different – a business that would put people at the heart of everything it does.
Over the past decade, that vision has become a reality.
We’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing clients along the way – from delivering branding projects for Alton Towers to supporting Smyths Toys with leadership development. No two days are ever the same here at Strategi, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
We’re proud to call Staffordshire our home, with our HQ based in Newcastle-under-Lyme. It’s from here that we’ve developed lasting partnerships and delivered tailored solutions to help businesses thrive. One standout achievement? Collaborating with Stoke-based Axia Solutions to launch the first-ever Level 7 Apprenticeship designed specifically for senior women leaders in the UK. As part of this, we even created a bespoke learning suite – a dedicated space for inspiration, and growth.
Giving back has always been part of our DNA. In 2023, we raised over £24,000 for the Breast Care Centres at the University Hospitals of North Midlands Trust through our “Big Girl Pants” campaign – a cause that’s very close to our hearts.
And the recognition hasn’t stopped there. In 2024, Wendy was honoured with the Gold Lifetime Achievement Award at the National Business Women’s Awards – a true testament to her unwavering commitment to supporting and empowering women in business.
Looking ahead, we’re incredibly excited about what’s next. As part of our long-term growth strategy, Rob Fisher has stepped into the role of CEO in 2025. Rob’s been with us since the early days and knows the business inside and out. His leadership comes at a pivotal time as we continue to build on the solid foundations of the past 10 years.
Reflecting on the journey, Wendy shared:
“Reaching our 10-year anniversary is an incredibly proud and humbling moment. I originally started the business back in 2015 as I wanted to be my own boss. Back then, our focus was to provide businesses with expert HR and culture change services – this still remains the core of what we do. We could only imagine the amazing journey ahead – not only growing our team but increasing our services to include Creative and Learning & Development.
To our incredible Strategi team that have made all this possible, loyal clients, and supportive partners – thank you for being part of our story. We have ambitious growth plans and lots to come, and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for us.”

Having been with the company since 2016, I’ve seen firsthand that the past 10 years have been built on vision, hard work, and genuine dedication to our values of Partnership, Innovation, Courage, Honesty, and Impact. I’m excited to see what the next decade has in store!”
