The project required us to merge the cultures of the acquired businesses, create one Human Resource Team and develop an HR strategy that aligned to the business strategy, including creating a succession plan, employee development plan and instilling a one people team approach.
Our approach was one of our consultants embedded into the organisation as VP of People reporting to the CEO for 18 months and working alongside the board to deliver a pre agreed people strategy that not only aligned the mission and values across the board, they also helped move the UN Global Compact score from 7% to 73% in 12 months. Successful implementation of a new HR system encompassing all employees within the business that fed the metrics of the company to allow more informed decision making. 300 managers were trained in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion online during the Pandemic. All female managers were enrolled onto a leadership programme resulting in promotions within the business.
